The Author
The author is a twenty-one-year-old girl, born in Minnesota, raised in Montreal, Georgia, and Illinois, now a New Yorker by way of New Jersey, despite currently residing with her parents in Cairo… She is a musician, who is studying as a soprano and conductor but also plays French horn, occasionally the piano, and the harpsichord when it’s available (and, when there are truly no other alternatives, the trumpet, though it’s extraordinarily painful for all involved). Opera is her delight, but she loves music in all its forms, except for country, with which she still has issues. She loves to read and writes when she can, but most of her free time, limited as it is, is occupied by sleep. Thank goodness. Sleep is good.
She also likes to eat chocolate, probably more than she should.
